School Marketing Flier 2026 Prep Transition (1).pngPayne Road State School was opened in 1970 and is set back from the road on picturesque grounds surrounded by Mount Coot-tha, Fish Creek and beautiful green leafy surrounds.

It has a current coeducational enrolment of approximately 300 students from Prep to Year 6.

The school prides itself on being a small school with big results.

At Payne Road State School we combine high-quality teaching with a strong focus on wellbeing, ensuring every student is challenged, cared for, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our school thrives on a strong, connected parent community, where every student feels safe, valued, and proud to belong.

At our school, high-quality teaching is intentional, evidence-informed, and focused on the success of every child.
We hold high expectations for all students and foster a positive learning culture where excellent teaching makes a real difference.
Teachers work collaboratively to design engaging learning experiences aligned to the Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy and the use of data to guide teaching and personalised support.
This ensures consistency, clarity, and high-quality learning in every classroom.
